the ability to easily shorten them
lighter
look better
stronger (Still weak, but stronger than a square pole)
stronger bracket (though still weak)

The stock SQ pole is the 2nd worst pole in standup history. (Right behind the 650/750/800 Kawi pole)

I am surprised there are any SN original poles left out there.
Ski must have been a garage queen?
I like my AC pole:biggthumpup:

round nose pole is where its at, light, easily shortened, only need some washers to use it on the stock bracket.

for 100 bucks give or take its money well spent, imo

plus if your square pole is unmolested you can sell it and make some money back.

The Good Old Days
Never did like my SN pole.
Thing was like a snow shovel and had the weirdest angle. Always feared the day it would snap and impale me so I replaced it with a RN at the first opportunity and never looked back.

Easy to shorten, much stronger, lighter, better ergonomics, looks much cleaner,...........
Yep, it's da bomb.
