Well it's always a bummer to mangle your ski I do not know too many people that like breaking their ski and playing with fiberglass But on the other hand you had the Balls to try and flip prop's to you. At least when you fix it you won't have to worry about the hand pole/nose breaking aging right? I am building a square I plan on flipping rolling crashing and hopefully not breaking too bad. So my ideas on that are to reinforce the hell out of the nose from topside and inside hull. (YamaSlut) has good points about reinforcing I agree with his ideas on reinforcing skis who care about and extra 5-10 pounds if it keep's it from falling apart. If the end result is too heavy and you can't jump, flip or roll it anymore well guess you need more CC's. After I glass the hell out of it, I plan on taking a piece of 1/8" billet flat plate cutting it to same size as pole bracket and drill whatever holes you need and put in the inside of the hull so you can sandwich hand pole to the hull. Hand pole, fiberglass, 1/8" billet plate i would say its safe to say i do not think you will ever have a problem and yes get some limiting straps and I would build up the hood seal lip, I think it would be a lot smarter to do it on the actual hood instead of the hull. After you feel it's good to go get back out and:brap:
