what oem drains are you going to buy??? that is what im thinking too.. i can take a pic of one way drain if you want it turned out pretty good.. im about ready to start glassing .. i have built aluminum brackets for under the footwells (glassing them in) to carry the weight.. i will be posting more pics soon..

i have built aluminum trusses to carry the weight of my fat but. they go from pump well to side of ski and have glassed them in.. i have 3M 5200 all penetrations.. the one pic is were i glass the under part of the gunwale with biox strip. then i foamed with non water retaining foam.. im getting ready to do the full deal this this weekend.. of course will post pics.. can i install drains after i glass in?

When I had all the foam out and inside cleaned. I put new lines in and sealed everything w 5200. Then put pink house Styrofoam on end. Inch or half inch. Whatever fits. Then sand flat and glass w s glass or cloth and biax. I used two layers of biax on my rn and it hasn't cracked yet. Our recent Fx build did not even get test fit for foothold location until there was a flat bottom deck glasses partially up onto the bondrail. This allows you to seal the closed cell foam IN to the bottom and then do your hold. then start w any type holds rev, wammer, Toby, etc and cut the bottom and sides off to make a rear entry style fit.

You can easily install a tray drain after. Even order a stock blaster fitting and screw it in for repeat use.

looks great are you using short handle pole?? just thinking you do cause of your foothold position.. your project looks great and i think im going to change my finish plan with some of these ideas.. thinking of doing foam again like you did and maybe just cutting gunwale off after my footholds... kind of liked it.. so you think to layers of biax is pretty tough

foam

ndidn'
well i have in my foot holds and then i started foam.. i used closed cell foam for bottom then i just put alittle foam on top to give shape.. i waited till it was pretty sticky before i poured so it would go down... i foamed gunwales on side almost upside down so foam go down.. then i just sanded 4 lb foam to give form.. started to cut biox and will be glassing this week. :smokin:
