will gas prices effect how often you ride this year?

I think it costs us about 50 bucks in gas between the superjet and the truck to get to the lake ride and get back. What are you guys spending and are the $4 gas price predictions going to have any kind of impact?

i wasent thinking about that, my boat might not get as much use. its a thirsty mofo.

but the ski's will not suffer

My boats got a big inline 6 Merc on it. dont tell me about THIRSTY.

and with an hour and a half minimum drive to hit the trails....kinds the same thing. I'll be picking and choosing my rides a little more. luckily lakes are close by.

Nope, we finished off our debt in October, so the gas prices going up don't really hurt as much as they would have 2-3 years ago.

My car gets 25-30mpg and our van gets 16.5-25mpg, not bad overall though I do wish the van got better.

i got a 350hp /350 roller. if you look closely you can watch the gas gauge go down lol

last summer if i was easy on it and didnt run around much i still burnt $100 in gas in a wknd just in the boat. i gotta feeling i cant afford that big biotch this summer

won't stop me from riding as much or more than usual. I think I'll be using our $1200 from the "stimulous package" on fuel though... Thanks Georgie...

but it WILL effect how much I take my KTM to the woods or how often my boat or my sit down see water.

The boat I undertstand, the KTM doesn't make sense... Great fuel economy for the fun factor.

I will ride more this year because I have a RN. I could care less how much fuel prices are, like mouth said maybe it will keep more of the idiots in the city.

because I have to DRIVE over an hour and a half ( @ 17-ish mpg) to be able to go ride any where.

MI is a messed up state. we have 3500 miles of state owned public trails ( the most anywhere in the US ) but they are all up north.

We spend about $30 in gas just to get to the lake and back and another $30 (average) in gas when we get there.

The rising price of fuel will definitely curtail something. Whether it's my riding and by how much, is not known yet.
