Will my ski be ok floating for a couple days?

So we usually stay on the lake all weekend in a cabin cruiser and plan on bringing my ski and will be floating in the middle of a lake
many issues I should be concerned about as far as water ingestion through the exhaust??

I let my chan sit for about 15 hours with just a rope wrapped around the bars tied to a boat with xscream scupper and pfp exhaust came back the next day still floating but it was in a no wake side of the boat slip. Still wouldnt really recommend it unless for emergency

OP, I assume your talking about the BC 760 in your other post. I wouldn’t recommend leaving a ski like that in the water unattended. Find a friend or two to help lift it onto the swim platform, dock, or shore. If that’s not an option just hang out on the boat and practice drinking or looking at the bikinis.

I think I speak for the majority of us when I say that I wouldn't leave my ski floating overnight EVER.
My buddy tried one of the swim mats. It actually made it worse than when it was just floating on its own. He has a scupper and there wasn't enough water pressure to keep the scupper flap sealed and closed so water just poured right into the hull. After a couple hours his ski was going down fast! Of course at the same time he ended up with water coming back up the pipe. Then he tried starting it.......Ooops......Major hydro-lock and bent crank. Time for a new DASA 1100.........
