Freestyle World Finals for X-h2O types 2013

I have very little interest in racing and even less in watching other people race but am thinking about World Finals this year for the trade show aspect and the freestyle competition. How much opportunity is there to actually try new hulls, and what about opportunities to purchase "on the spot"? Any used trading / selling going on?
Just trying to get a feel for the event, what to expect, what to look for etc.

Monday is the place to be. You get to try everything. There are always smokin deals on parts at the event. I always get a new set of gear because everything is so cheap. Many people sell used parts and skis down there too. I'll be bringing like 5 sets of 62T cases and all sorts of other motor parts to sell. All I can say is leave your wallet at home if you don't want to go broke. I brought $150 for new gear last year and it was all gone in about 30min.

It will be my first time there also, so how does it work? Did you sell it from the trunk of your car? Set up a table? Details please....

Mainly the new hulls demo day is Monday at body beach...but sometimes over by the launch ramp or light house...by the camp spots they demo ski.s too...we will be there with probally 2 eme micro.s and a eme aeriel 8 and there is always lots of new ski.s around there...if u wanna try a new hull ask the people...like rrp they will tell u when they are gonna demo...and for the most. Part they let u try anything...but that's why Monday is the best day cause all the comp.s are over so they don't have to worry about u breaking a ski...

It's the Monday AFTER finals, not the Monday During finals.
I'm not too sure how selling parts works. I know vendors have their booths setup but for used parts I don't know. I was going to post everything online ( here and pwc today) and say that I'll have them at finals. Then all I do is meet up with people while I'm down there.

I think we should organize a big used parts and used jet ski swap meet. We just need to pick a time and place. Like the walmart parking lot or something. I think the campground would be a little too crowded for something like this.

The first Monday? You want to be there for the Monday immediately following World Finals, so the 14th.

Finals is bad@ss. Anybody who is considering coming out, you will not be disappointed. Its not only racing a freestyle competition, its a convention. You'll definitely want to bring plenty of money because there's always a ton of poop for good prices. Its also a great party. Kokomo goes off on Friday and Saturday night.

I always see used parts for sale when walking through the pits, but you need a pass for that. Alot of the selling is just done on here before the fact, kinda like at Freerides where you advertise something and somebody just meets you there.

I heard a rumor that Team DBR is throwing a big party at their rv during the weekend. It might be worth checking out.

Got it, however I have a convention in vegas the weekend before, so could shoot over for a few days and save on air fair. So basically if I show up the First Monday no one with freestyle skis or vendors will be there?

First year going down, our group should have a g3, backie chan, KDX, DVX and possibly a rok-r and footrocket. I'm we could be bribed with beer for test rides haha

The first Monday is one of the slower days. Some of the vendors will probably be there but it wont be like later in the week when the entire vendor alley is filled up.

Im not worried about mommy and daddy. Its the teacher i have to try and get around. I got stuck at a christian college so unless or sick or praying, then your in class lol

Its a big party for sure. The vender area is great and the nights at Kokomos at London Bridge Resort is the real party.

Also guys were going down to watch freestyle guys practice alll week. and People who have demo boats there were letting guys go down and take them for rips during the week. But monday since everything is over there are way more people willing to hand their skis over.
