Worth going to an OEM 155?

I have a blowsion big bore 850 with Total Loss and a b pipe

WDK Rip Freestyle hull

I am currently running a skat-trak setback magnum 144 pump

My hull has a 155 pump tunnel

Does anyone have a similar setup and switched to the 155 shoe and pump?

Opinion: Would switching from a 144 mag to an oem 155 give gains with this setup?

It seems like a great product, but seems a bit pricey.
You can build one pretty cheap if you source cheap, used parts, and mod the wear ring yourself. I had JM build me a fresh OEM 155 with proper driveshaft, refurb. stator, and b2 wear ring and it was over $800, fyi. Alot of work went into Sasquachcrap's pumps plus, they are large hub. They seem priced pretty fairly to me.
I personally would run an OEM 155 over a skat 144 in a freestyle hull.

I think I will sell my skat mag and go from there.

I got a quote from jm for a 155 stator, wear ring, and new shaft and bearings assembled for less than $450, but perhaps I will go Sasquachcrap.

Do you have a link for the reduction nozzle that can be bored out more than oem?

You can buy one of those big hub oem stators for around 250 brand new if you can mod it yourself might be a ok option aswell. Youll just need to determine yournshaft lengths

Yes HUGE difference from 144mag to 155 OEM. I did it with a Dasa 850. Its like going from a b pipe to Power Factor pipe.
i would start pretty low pitched, something like 6/13 maybe with a 88mm exit nozzle. Leaving some room to take out more if needed

I got an 1100 waveraider pump off ebay for 200 bucks complete from drive shaft to turn nozzle, you can have the drive shaft shortened but the prop is the expensive part of the setup really. The 1100 stator is not big hub but I run the big hub prop with just a 718 and I felt it was a better setup coming from a 144 mag
