wrong hooker?

OK, just checked with a light, even had my wife look too, absolutely no light coming through.

Yes it revs right up, just takes like 10 seconds to really start moving, it has the bottom end of a js300 and the mid/top of a seadoo rxpx...

Could it be carbs even though they seem to be tuned right??

pull your pump off and check the seal. I had the same thing happen with my rebuild SJ. The seal looked great, until the inner metal piece fell out while I was holding it.. Could possibly be an air leak from your midshaft. Also love the paint job on your ski!

OK, so I ground the pump shoe even with the wear ring then filled the joint in nicely with 5200. That should cure any leak I can't see. If that doesn't work I know the impeller isn't right...

Yeah that should work did that to my rn after i blue printed pump, i didnt have to but did anyways, because if you figure the water going over it hitting an edge would cause air bubbles, i would think, i could tell a difference, but not sure if it was because of that or the blue printed pump, and at the same time i moved impeller closer to the vanes.

Put a bpipe back on it, problem solved.

I believe this is a PFP problem. I could be wrong, but sounds like every poorly setup PFP i have ridden. I dont have any experience besides what i recommended in order to fix it. If there is an overabundance of water in the exhaust it can take a few seconds to clear out before the pipe dries out and starts making power.

If the motor is in the powerband and the ski is not moving, I would check the pump liner. I had a 750sxi pro that did the same thing. Ran perfect, just wouldn't move until you babied it to a certain speed. Turned out to be a worn pump liner. Tiny a$$ little hole and it just lost bottom thrust. Any of my friends that weighed less than 125 lbs. could jump on and go. Above, and you had to really balance on it until you were moving a little faster. Definitely not a holeshot king.

Check it out. You never know. Good luck.

Yeah, its not the pump, its the motor setup. I wish you could toss a bpipe on there, bet it would rip with the top screw cracked a tiny bit.

I have never ridden a ski with a powerfactory pipe and been impressed by low end hit. Not saying it can't be done...I just don't see the pump being the issue. Especially if the motor isn't "hitting" in the power band. Leaky fuel pumps, improper pop off, bad coil.

Lots to check, but I think it's the port timing of your cylinder coupled with the pwrfctry pipe creates a poopty setup.
I would toss a new stator then cdi or coil.

Running the pfp as a wet pipe instead of a dry pipe. Basically injecting water into the chamber instead of using the water jacket that the pipe was built with.

Hey man I'll trade you straight up for my B pipe Haha.
People have had good luck with a pfp and smaller motors. But it couldn't hurt to try it wet.
