They were closed all weekend and just opened up today if you read the website. I called today and no one is answering phones but internet purchases are taken care of. Tomorrow call them. But it did say this on the web page, I dont think they made it clear enough tho. :banghead:

I ordered as well, they just reopened today from a week off that was clearly posted on there website. Here is the message that is up now:

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF ORDERS WE RECEIVED PHONE SALES WILL NEED TO REMAIN CLOSED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS WEEK SO WE CAN GET THEM PROCESSED. NEW INTERNET ORDERS ARE BEING PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY.

If you needed it quick you shouldnt have ordered it right before they closed. It was clearly posted.....

All I have heard is good about this CO. everyone needs a break and I am sure they will hook you up asap, keep cool and call back or email and I bet they move your order up front. I know it is frustrating as I am going through same crap w/ another co. but am keeping cool as I know there are mistakes made and only so much a few people in one company can do when growing. But it sucks waiting on shiot you need NOW.

I ordered Jetworks batteries from them last Thursday. I though it was going to be a couple weeks when I found out they were closed for the weekend. But the batteries showed up today except they came from San Diego.

Got any crackers?

I was just venting fella's. I understand things come up or something happens.

I am mostly frustrated because I called the shop the day after I placed the order just to be sure everything was O.K. So with that I got the impression the order would be shipping probally that day or very soon...Also considering the order was fresh on his mind since I called... The money has been out of my account but I havent gotten my stuff yet and what REALLY bugs me is not having a phone # to contact. I don't like emailing companies as they don't get the same attention as a phone conversation. More human.

I'll try calling tmrw.

onesojourner - I ordered a SJ start/stop switch from a forum member from MO.

I understand your frustration as I've felt shorted on service from a few vendors in the past. I personally have never made it public and it would be one of the last things I would do to any company, I suppose I am more understanding than others. I have had great results by reestablishing communications and finding out where the problem rests, even if it takes a little time and effort. It helps the vendor and you as the end-user. Nearly every problem I have had was resolved in my favor.

Jim at AJS is one of those who goes far to help on a personal level. He has helped me so many times and I think he deserves better. I'm tiring from seeing the short trigger being pulled before all lesser means have failed for any vendor.

The number of members flying off about poor service before exhausting their resources leaves me nearly speechless. If not receiving a part to complete a project is the worst anyone has had to endure, I applaud you. It just seems so petty and selfish to me.

I was trying to order a battery from them last Thursday and their phone line just kept saying they were closed - didn't specify for how long. Nothing on the web site at that time. I ended up buying a battery at West Marine (needed one by Saturday). I've had great experience with Atlantic Jet Sports in the past though.

I had a similar issue happen last year with AJS where they went on a week's vacation after I placed my order and I didn't get it until two and a half weeks after I placed it.

Jim was sympathetic as he and I exchanged emails one night around ten but that didn't get him to the shop to mail me my carb springs.

It's a good company with good customer service. These things happen from time to time.

You are much more forgiving then me. Maybe I'm petty and selfish too, but when ordering something I want to just get it no hassels, d1ckin around, or playing phone tag.
