Does anyone have pictures of X Metals new Adjustable pole of how it comes shipped from them? I am interested in the color... Anodized black correct? Do you need to get it powder coated/painted black, or will it look stupid to leave it the way it comes on a black ski?

I like all black myself

Just dont leave it setting out in the sun. haha

I think if it were anno'd black it would good on an all black ski.

Better yet get the parts polished AND THEN have it annoed black.

Helped him saturday am install it. It was powdercoated. Nice setup. It seems very easy to adjust. The only thing we thought would make it better is if they could incorporate a sealed bearing turn system. You guys will be very happy when you get yours.

If i'm not mistaken the powder coat is standard. Personally I hate powder coat on skis, or my truck, paint is so much easier to change down the road. Powdercoat sucks to blast off, its like chewing gum, but still brittle when it chips

as promised, I will be mounting my UMI to it.

they powdercoated all of them. anodizing was fading to fast in the sun. and to dull of a color , powdercoated is nice and shiny and easy to wipe down.

We did change to powdercoat.
(anodize is still an option, its actually cheaper to do)
there are other updates as well, just minor stuff, but we try to make improvements with each run.
