Yeah Harrison, there is only one builder that is allowed to be brought up in every thread and crapped on and he wasnt mentioned lol.

Sorry didnt see anything wrong with Harrisons post. He was just asking whats wrong with people local to him. Why is everyone so sensitive?

if ya don't mind me asking what did you pay for the work? I need to get my motor done and am leaning twards group k...... but i have not made my final choice... i have been calling around and i can't get a straight answer on prices...harry told me that "shooting from the hip" it would cost me around 2k to get my 61x bored 83mm port my cylinders, cases, and intake. That price was with a new crank,pistions,gaskets..and lighten my fly wheel.... i just don't like the whole shoot from the hip thing...i want to send the full payment with the motor and not have to worry about it

I'm very happy with my 'oddball' X-Scream 61x 760. :cheer: All the guys there are true professionals!

Not to be a dik, but PM's work great on this site. Maybe that would have been more fitting than posting that in this thread

Sorry harrison but this was a feedback for Xscream not other builders? Nice thread jack.

Hey why not start it up. In a general thread there is no problem at all. In a "feedback" thread for a company I would say yes. If you want to start a thread on those builders go ahead.

You just started up the drama. good job

I guess you need to get on Blaster4life for mentioning Group K!!!!!!!!!!!

Not trying to put out your fire, did not realize there were insecurity issues here.

I know you will be happy with your motor. Chuckie does great work.......

After speaking to alot of engine builders
and having done alot my self the one i have found to date with the best knowlodge to date would have to be Chuckie
He gave me a few small pointers that i hadnt thought of that made my race ski come alive
If i didnt build my own engines and i didnt live in australia then i would be asking chuckie to build it for me

You know what I meant. Im not insecure about anything are you? I just wouldn't say to someone who was posting in a FEEDBACK thread about the good experience that he has had to tell someone to go try another builder. I would have done it in a PM. You were a little rude but that is ok. you are aloud to be. :usa2: Also there was nothing wrong with Blasters post.

Are those the only builders you recommend?

It was dialed in right and ran good right off the bat:bananajump:

Brent, honestly, I was just responding to Blasters question, he said he had been calling around........ I have other builders out there. I learned a while back to keep all options open....... why? Because every one has a niche and none specialize in all facits of building. If you know anything about car audio it is the same, you are better off finding a Speaker Company, Amplifier Company, Head Unit company and Sub Company than say picking Alpine or Pioneer to supply all parts of your system..... each has a niche. somehting that they focus on.

Stock Class Race setups.

1. TBM
2. Bill Haig
3. Dan Fitzgerald

Limited Class Race Setups

1. Tim Zarnsdorf
2. Bill Haig
3. TBM
4. Ultimate Watercraft(Keep in mind that Ultimate and TBM work closely together)

Superstock Class Race Setup

1. Bill Haig
2. TBM/Ultimate Watercraft
3. JSU
4. Jetworks
5. Judge Motorsports ( I do not know about his experience with Kawi, but at this point I would jump back to the 08 Superjet.
6. TLR (If Todd still would do watercraft)

Freestyle (Flat water comp setups)

1. TLR
2. Team Scream
3. Head Enterprises
4. LPW
5. Wamiltons
6. Legdrag

Freeride Setups

1. Team Scream
2. TLR
3. Jetworks
4. LPW
5. Riva or Protec
6. JSU
7. Judge Motorsports
8. Bill Haig (Hurricane Racing)

The order of each catagory is not in any particular order, just straight out of my head.

again, accept my apology, was not trying to dump on your build. I would not hesitate to have chuckie build me an engine.
