XFS Comp DASA 1200 Loads up after spins???

Location

Hi,
I have a 2015 XFS Comp, Dasa 1200, RRP pipe, 155 max pump, RRP trim with RRP flow guard.

If im doing multiple flips it just pulls and pulls no issues.

If I do say a 360 aerial spin when I land it seems like it loads up and needs a few blips to clear so stops me being able to do another trick.

Found my main exhaust coupler had split last weekend so fitted new and was still the same this weekend.

Any thoughts?

Someone else must have had this issue or have some ideas?

Really is baffling me, going to try a Xmetal trim with the coupler mod just to see if it makes any difference. Had that on my last ski and never had any issues, cant really see it though as the RRP trim is pretty tight and then has the flow guard, but does have a hole where the steering cable comes out on the exhaust side which is the way I turn.

Any thoughts?

Maybe Instead of switching trims, put a peice of cut off Pcv pipe in the exhaust tube to extend it a little and angle cut the end and recheck it?

My RRP pipe, I had the water box set low in the hull the ways yours appears and water would get into the stinger end of pipe and into rear cylinder under certain situations until I put 3.5 inches Eva under it and replaced the outlet to clear the carbs. Was wondering if this could be happening on yours and the way you spin clockwise and centrifugal force push some water into your rear cylinder. Ski goes right, water in pipe would be left...also is that water line restricted to your water box ? I have 2mm restricter and a fc valve on mine set to open around 4000 rpm

Also saw these 2 other threads, one about adding additional anti siphon valves to the carbs from mikuni manual, momentary rich condition on long decals or fuel leak out high speed circuit on big strokers.. And collects on butterfly.. The other was about modding the fuel block it self @37, I think might know about this one but I can remember.. You can google the additional anti siphon valves. Good luck

Thanks for you reply, was looking at the exhaust and wondering about that, I'll find a piece of pipe that fits in and make something up.

I have the biggest block I could get under the water box (50mm odd), pipe is strapped up wards under pole bracket the block is sat on top of the RRP battery tray block.

Use to have a flow valve in and was wondering if box was to hot and steam causing it to do it so took off and made no difference with it out so will put it back in and try.

Someone else recommended 2 check valves on the kidney plates so I've fitted them but made no difference.

I'll try the exhaust tube and restrictor in water box and see what she does.

I'm running a 120 jet in water inhector and getting about a 65deg c pipe temp so didn't really want to drop to a 110

Exact same issue with our XFS (1000 Dasa). Our exhaust (RRP) and waterbox are raised up and the exhaust hose is also humped up and back down to outlet, so I don't think we're getting any water running around the pipe.

What trim are you running.

I don't see how trim and a Flowguard would cause it to load up? I thought it was carbs, but the odds of us both having the same issue is too high.

Water being pushed back up exhaust by the trim.

Might not be but had dasa 1100 RRP and xmetal on my last 2015 XFS and was mint

I rode one on an Aquabot that was so severe you would think it was broken. I actually fell on a turn. Reason I swapped to Xmetal and boot years ago. Longer exh pipe would work as well. Cant wait to hear your report to see if same issue.

did you see if it happened on right side spins? or just left? it shouldn't spray the exhaust turning right.

I only really spin to the left. Didn't try the other way, was going to try that next time out but just decided to start changing stuff
