Getting real close Shanes! Looking nice and smooth. Keep the vids coming, I enjoying watching these vids way more than sucessful flip after flip from the guys who can do this with their eyes closed.

Shanes what ride plate have u been using the freeride or the short freestyle one?

im using the one at the short one seen here

Form looks good to me, but I'm not a flat water expert by any means. I think you struggle with the same thing I do.......I never remember to pull my arms in to help pull the ski around.

updates well i was out riding sat {video above } and was getting close so just key trying over and over , headed out sunday on my third try i realized i was so bloody sore from the day before i couldn't do to much i did 2-3 short sessions getting set wake better all the time and got some around a little further but still not landed it and my old body said enough was enough , i felt like i had been hit by a bus , you use a lot different muscles trying to flip than you do just riding around on the SJ .
i still cant blow my nose and it hurts to laugh as my abs are so bloody sore .

ill give it a few days and head out on the the weekend hopeful i be back to new and body will be more used to it .

if you where landing it i don't think it would be to bad but having to climb back on the ski every time takes its toll

Shane, When you need to do more of a pre-hop and from the time you leave the wake till you hit the water suck your legs up as much as you can. draw your feet as close to your body as you can. you want your butt almost dragging in the water before you take off. you will get it like that.

D-Roc

I forgot!
the prehop, Do you do this in a way that gets the nose up as you drop in before the wake to hit, or are you trying to get the nose down a bit while dropping in before the wake, and then hold off on the throttle just a sec to let the wake hit the nose while body weight has since driven the rear of the ski down. not sure if that makes sence, can you explain your prehop a bit more and what you are doing with it? great tips so far.

Is your ski a carbon or glass ski?

mine is Glass , hard enough to get an XFS wasn't going to wait another 12 months for a carbon one :-}}}

Not to post dump.... But D roc you can see the little pre hop or loading the pump & putting the Ski in the pocket like talked about above... When you get it the ski comes right around
