Holy poop man attention to detail definitely insane. The turf makes it a game changer!

Thanks !!! Don't know if you remember, when I first asked you about a hull I wanted a 2x2 twill visual carbon weave. I had to make turf match the Game Changer visual lay up!

50k jet ski. Cheapest fuel line you can get. Weird stuff. Sweet ski tho
Pretty sure that's Tygon. Not sure how it compares price wise but it's very good fuel line. Not the prettiest but very functional and good quality.
Yeah the op mentioned it was tygon . We use Tygon for swimming pool applications . We supply straight acid through it with no issues. Over time anything cracks though. I’m pretty sure tygon specific to gas is not the cheap stuff. Tygon makes the non kink lines for oxygen supply for anyone on home oxygen tanks or supply as well.
Tygons the most expensive you can get.

Quick write up on that fuel line. I always thought the OEM gray stuff was best and when I was collecting FX1's I had collected a rather large box of it for builds, all of it take off's. Last time I grabbed that box most of it would crack when giving it the fold test, so that box went in the dumpster. And down the rabbit hole of fuel line research. Different sources, ( aviation, automotive, marine, powersports ) all seem to say Tygon. So I go on Mcmaster, and of course there's many choices of Tygon. Using the drop down menu, for gasoline, a bunch of Tygon's come up, anywhere from .80 cents a foot to $8.00 and higher per foot.

THEY ARE NOT ALL EQUAL ! The most expensive is not the best, the cheapest is not the best, the truth lies somewhere in between. What I was advised to go after was:
Tygon F-4040-A.

Now go read the description for F-4040-A, NOT FOR ETHANOL BASED GASOLINE. All the gas in my area has ethanol.

WTF!

More research, and well, not all ethanol gasoline is equal. The consensus I got, Ethanol BASED Gasoline is like your E85, 51%-83% ethanol.
Ethanol BLENDED is like your E10, less than 10% ethanol
The consensus, Tygon F-4040-A is fine for BLENDED, NOT BASED.

I ordered a bulk roll and started using it with my FS1 build , 2018, 7 years ago. An interesting footnote, the last time I rode the Rickter was 2021, been in storage since. Where the fuel has pooled in the lines is FINE, however, where there are air pockets, like the top of the tank at the pickups, the F-4040 has become brittle. When I break it out, I will give it a fold test to see if it cracks, just don't want a mess with it right now.

As usual, not the cheapest, not the most expensive, the truth for me was in between.

Another footnote, I used the 1/4" Tygon F-4040-A , Mcmaster Carr, $2.20 per ft., my buddy Flash-FX uses 6mm Tygon F-4040-A, Mcmaster Carr, $1.82 per foot. he says it fits the Mikuni barbs better.

Quick write up on that fuel line.

Just to throw another option into the mix, I use C-210-A. Tygon has been my fuel line of choice since about 2019 when my brother in law started using it.

While McMaster doesn't list it as fuel and oil resistant, the datasheet on Saint Gobain's website does. I prefer the fully clear look, I think I can see more.

Ties on the fuel lines and snap in the breather hoses........and I think that about covers it for this build.

I've used Tygon line on all of my builds and had great success. After years of use, they eventually turn brown but remain pliable and still work safely. I was told a rumor that if you use Tygon for the pulse line, it can collapse on itself and cause issues that are hard to diagnose. I run OEM line on my pulse fitting and I noticed you're using something similar! What's your opinion on the pulse line?

The stuff I'm running for pulse lines is rubber vacuum line I use at work for testing mechanical seals. Have it on a roll, don't even remember where I got it.....
It's the same stuff I vacuum tested the motor with. Stays rigid and doesn't collapse even under a perfect vacuum. And pretty durable, it's been on my Rickter for 7 years and shows no sign degradation. I only use silicone for after ride motor spray down, probably helps.

Many De Nadas CD! Posting is kind of a pia, though luv having the record of what was done as reference for any possible future sale. Kinda sucks with Tony’s recent announcement that Tigercraft builds from kits may be a thing of the past.
Soo many cool ideas, tips, and tricks. Watching your builds always inspires me to do better and higher quality work.
