Freestyle Xscream & DASA What's coming next..

What's the coming next from xscream on the 66e cases? What's possible 1300, 1400cc?

What about DASA with the newer billet cases?

Let's discuss what you've heard and what you reckon?

I seems like all the engine specs and talking are close to secret, i havent even seen any torque or hp curves or numbers - except Chris torque on his old ATP cylinder.
Seems strange that its impossible to retrive :) ?

While on this subject, 1200 are already a heavy motor, are. A/M hulls beefed up in the motor mount area? Also what mounts are guys running with 1200cc motors? It seems like 1 flip/roll fail could do some damage. Granted, most riders using big motors have the skills to pull most tricks off. Was just always curious about it though.

Hopefully something that's not based of a ski engine to start with.

... and I got a feeling it won't be either of the two companies you listed on your title that will produce it.

XS is using oem sj mounts on 1200...the couch mounts vibrate too much on the 1200 affecting popoff n tuning.

Couldn't some larger pistons/liners be fitted to the 66e cases as they stand to produce a 1300 or 1400?

Is the existing xs1200 stroked much? Perhaps more could be added?

I dont think there is any more capcity to be had from the 2t based engine due to the two close bore centers. It makes sense that if they want to make a real high power engine that they develop there own cases and use excisitng cylinders that are already out there. Ie big motor bike cylinders kx500 cr 500 or something along that design. That would be cool Maybe something like the macio 700cc cylinder on there twice

the size in CCs is going to continue to go up, it always does. somebody said BUN has a motor bigger that 1200cc right now, but i couldnt find any info. WDK told me he had a new beast coming out that used 103mm pistons on the 66e platform. i forgot what cc he said it would be.

Yes, they make sleeves for the 66E that can be overbored, not sure how large the available sleeves go. The 66E engine design is much more performance oriented from the factory than the 61x/62t motors so I don't think there is a ton of meat there to remove for oversized sleeves. I believe both XS and WDK are stock stroke motors (66E has a 10mm longer stroke than 62T, I think both companies do use lightened cranks howeverv) it wasn't as popular as the x/t motors so the aftermarket parts like stroker cranks and TL ignitions are few and far between.

XS and WDK use stroker cranks. XS machines the cases to accept 62T electronics. My question is when do we run out of carburetor?

you guys both need to expand your current knowledge on this stuff. XS1200 is a stroker crank and WDK is stock stroke. WDK used 1 light weight crank and it grenaded on kenny/steve. most aftermarket cranks now have light weight triangle shaped cheeks.

Really a derail here, my info was there were 20 cranks sitting on the shelf at WDK, I'm not standing there so next time you are maybe you can take a picture, the point is mute. Without stroker crank would require 98mm pistons. Is that starting bore on WDK 1200. Edit: Just talked to the big Dawg and he is continuing to use the stock crank and 98mm pistons.

that clown was not directed at you by the way

No worries, I can admit when I'm mistaken. I got mis informed and should have checked with WDK first. So what about the limit of the SBN on a larger motor?
