Zero degree bars vs others

This sounds like an overuse issue. Doctors wont help. Something you do is causing it..is it a mouse and keyboard?

And btw, goofie is the real way! :p

i went to a sports medicine dr to try to get it figured out and thats what they called it. it is right in front of the elbow but on the top of my forearm and gets worse the more often i ride. i've been real prone to inflammation issues all my life in many different areas.

dont know if the zero bars i used to ride with caused it but the dr said now that ive had it, its more likely to be an issue in the future.

I'm no fan of a tight pole either. I'll catch hell, but I think it has been spawned by flatwater tricking.
I like the pole to move with me, without effort....I don't want to think about it.
(I only ride surf)

On the other hand, I must disagree about weight, back issues and control.
Granted: TOO short a pole is misery. However, (related to a stock sj) A pole cut 2 or 2.5" in combination with a steering system and straight bars equals approx. -5 or -6".
It all depends on your body type; But having had back issues myself, I found this to be a blessing. I have rarely felt discomfort as prior and have opened up my riding to a new level on the face. (except for pearling).
The ski turns better and...just performs better when you're riding it instead of dragging behind it.
Get forward. Don't drag.

I think you'll find a new ski beneath you.

Tennis elbow sux.
I find it hard to believe that different bars would make it go away.
I think it just goes with the territory. Rest it and then ride and make it worse, then rest it.......

Maybe this will be interesting for some.....

I ride with with zeros and have tennis elbows too. I am not sure if I can blame it on the bars or just old age. One thing i never do is let go of the ski when I fall so I am thinking that could be the culprit of the elbow problem.
