That sucks......... But still blows my mind about lack of foam being used............ Guess call me A-Hole.. Have a hard time donating parts that cost me money on something that could have been prevented........ Its one thing if a ski gets away from you and heavy surf and the tide takes it. Its another when it sinks.

It always boggles my mind that the extra 5lbs or so in foam is sacrificed on many $15k+ skis....

Did you happen to see the surf or tide in Portugal? Looked pretty big. It kind of blows my mind that in this small of an industry the IFWA is the only legit organized international freeride tour in the world and yet rescue service is still lacking I've heard mixed things about who actually hires the rescue crew,regardless of foam no foam hood on or off with a heat of 2 riders there are 2 rescue sitdowns its only common sense for each rescue person to stay glued to that rider and respond immediately.

A ski with no foam can sink in seconds, wouldn't matter what rescue crew is there
