X-metal trim works great and its pretty reasonable. just need exit and steering nozzle from 62t machine like wave raider.
a Mag pump will give you better thrust so you dont need it but if you want to squeeze the most power out of your setup its probably worth it.
If your woodruff key is fine. it might be a stretch to say but try swapping the msd with a good working stock cdi i had a very similar issue when i just built my ski and turned out to be a bad cdi.
How long ago did you do this? Perhaps they have changed yours too. That is how it used to be in Michigan but I "guess" they "changed" it about a month ago. I was in a decently small town when I tried, but I might just have to make my rounds to all the offices before I find one that will.

try a different DMV maybe a smaller town. i know here in MN the large offices are a pain my little local one is real simple just a BOS even if its not in their name, registers just fine.

Personally i dont get wats worth it with enhancers and TL with all the issues that occur. Just go with the old Stock CDI and remove the Rev limiter. + stock is cheap to replace

im sorry but that turf doesnt look that good for $300. i think i did a better job my second time ever turfing... looks rushed
well i hope he for sure makes the BRAND NEW ignition right or i will be very disappointed in EME.
