I just built a steel one this summer for my SX. I used 3' of 2" hitch stock-made for trailer hitches- and TIG'd 2 2"x3"x4' thin wall rails on the top with turf for the padding. I then used some 3/8" round stock and bent them and attached them on the bottom side of the rails and under the hitch...

The foam just sits around the tank. My SX doesn't have it and I didn't even know it was supposed to until I picked up a spare sxi hull.. Haven't sunk mine yet.. knock, knock on wood... hahaha

The screen of mine is glued down right next to the drive shaft in the low flat area close to the bulkhead. Be sure to fuse the positive side. And the bilge hose runs out in front of the battery through the side. I run it with an aftermarket momentary switch that is apart of my start/stop switch.

Ya the steering cable is on the other side I guess. If I can swap the turnplate I will, I have a PJS plate.. Or I will just modify the pole and bracket as needed.. Seeing it and comparing will help my thought process... Thanks D!

I bought a set of Tom21's from Tom21 on here. They are nice and big. They alow you to use thicker cushy padding in them unlike others. I am still waiting to get them in my current ski, but I cut them into my spare hull just to see how they are. I like them alot so far standing in my garage floor...

Ya I found a brand new AC SJ pole for $399 shipped on Ebay.. It doesn't say if it is shortened though or not. Pretty good price I think.. If anyone has a stock RN pole PM me.. I maybe interested if the price is right!
