I've only had one ever go bad, and it's because my electrical box was a disgusting goo pit. I think there was even mold in there. AZ Heat+waterlogged electrical box is not good. I think I ended up replacing almost everything in that box.

I think they should allow two strokes in the standups and make everything else 4. EFI would be nice but I can't get excited about a 4 stroke standup.
