Garage is cleaned up, engine bay masked off, and hull is hung. Just need to wipe everything down real good with acetone and ill be spraying paint tomorrow night! Besides getting ready for paint I resprayed the handle pole today and it turned out really good

Hull is sanded and ready for paint. Still need to sand the hood. Planning to spray some firemist cobalt blue next Monday. Got my turf in this week too and ordered a wet suit! Hopefully this thing is on the water in a few weeks!

Did some powdercoating today and started sanding the hull. Few pics of powder coat and the pole mocked together with everything painted. Unfortuantely the pole got sanded down again today for a recoat because I had some runs. Might as well get the kinks out before spraying the whole hull I guess

Sanded the body filler on the pin holes and spot shot them with primer. Also sanded the hand pole down too 220 grit and sprayed with pure white acrylic urethane tonight.

Finished up body work and got 3 coats of feather fill on now. Just sprayed the primer tonight. I do have a few pin holes I will need to go back and fill in but from the looks of it the body work turned out pretty good. There is a couple spots on the bottom deck that have a bit of an in dent but...

I dont think so either. I will be running a similar setup just probably not as light of a hull and plan to run a 9/15. I have only heard of people going to 10/16 hookers when they get closer to the 800cc motors

The paint scheme is going to be firemist cobalt blue with lime green turf white handle pole and some white and lime green stickers. So I thought this was fitting and I like how it looks with the oem cylinder and case color

Motor is pretty much finished besides plugs and flame arrestor. Now its Back to sanding and body work I guess. hopefully within the next couple weeks the hull will be ready for paint. Getting pretty excited for riding season!

Didn't get a chance to work on the hull this weekend but did start assembling the motor. went a little slower than was hoping but I took my time to make sure everything was good and clean and went together right. Real happy with the colors! Looks sweet! Can't wait to get the green intake mani...

Thanks! A little motivation tonight weighed the hull and a sn hull that jakobi86 is looking to start modding. At this point its 36lbs lighter than the stock/potentially water logged hull which is pretty exciting to me! Hoping to do some sanding and start building the motor this weekend

Ski is looking good. If your running a stock water box u should be fine as far as keeping the exhaust route above the water line. On the sn I am building my water box outlet is very close to the hood line with the rocker. Keep up the good work it will be worth it!

Thanks sanoman! I started using a sanding block last weekend and I think i am getting closer but I will definitely need to check it with the primer and paint. Got my now 718 top end back from the maniac today and have all my parts for the engine build. Hoping to get that assembled next weekend.
