Thanks for the option John but I don’t have a source for a unmodified base and was wanting to get a conversion bracket and do it right.

    start switch working sporadically

I would suggest pulling the separate switches apart and checking for corroded contacts, it’s quite easy.

    start switch working sporadically

The start switch and lanyard switch work together on a Yamaha if I’m not mistaken. Lanyard has to be in and the start button pressed to complete that circuit. On my ski the engine would crank but not start, unlike I said in my previous post. My problem was only in the lanyard switch, not the...

    start switch working sporadically

The lanyard switch on mine was getting water in it from a seal missing. Id push the start switch and nothing, smack the housing with my hand and it would start. http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/how-to-fix-your-sj-start-stop-switch.135834/ Check this thread out and see what the inside of...

    No start issue

Flywheel bolt is regular thread, I use a clutch holding tool for dirt bikes and a 17mm box end wrench because it can be tight. You’ll need a puller to get the flywheel off

    No start issue

If you’re able to jump the brown wire from your starter solenoid to 12v and it starts then something from your switch to the relay is not right.

    62T not charging

Maybe I’m just worried too much but it ran my battery low over the course of an hour and a half. The manual says 14.3-15.3 for charging voltage but I understand that in reality it may not be that high. I don’t like that I’m only getting 4 volts on the red wire coming from the regulator but don’t...

    62T not charging

I may just throw it back together and run it tomorrow, I’d just like to see even half a volt above static voltage, doesn’t make me very confident in taking the ski across the lake otherwise.

    62T not charging

If I unplug the red wire at the regulator and check voltage I get 3.5-4 volts while running

    62T not charging

Red wire from the regulator is connected to the correct bullet plug in the ebox My battery voltage was 12.5 static and when running at idle was only 12.4 which is not charging properly. Bought the ski recently, I’ve had it out five times and it ran great all but the last. I put battery...

    62T not charging

Searched endlessly without a solution. Superjet with 62t not charging Good used stator—mine was only putting out 5.3v a/c when cranking which I thought was supposed to be at least 6, new does the same Brand new regulator— old regulator tested 2-3 megaohms from black to red or green, new is 3k...

    No start issue

Maybe check and make sure the grounds in your ebox are clean and tight, sounds like you’ve gone through the right steps to diagnosing your problem.
