yes - you need a machinist but can be done and will work great

unit is taking power from batt - so check to have this full(oem cdi takes power from stator). On mine i have no stator at all - only sensor and no magnets on flywheel

Hi! Need to see your conversion plate. Have Rad Dudes one too that is too high. Also who's doing that pipe? What other mods on engine?

Have 2 units - one on my rickter (replaced the MSD enhancer - and is better- total loss like ) and one on a 760 blaster2

actuallyy the pump from a xl700/2001 is exactly what u need - and the impeller is quite good too - but need some glass work and an 155 shue - best is my ideea to make a pumpshue without seal ring like oem style

Any good or bad things - would have been good info for rest of us - about engine - was thinking - even you cut balancer shaft cases should make it possible to add some oil in crankshaft gear location to protect the seals
