I've ggot a 300sx and 701 sitting around so I'm thinking about doing the conversion. Has anyone ever used a 155 pump? I've seen threads with all the other options. I was wondering if bigger is better in this case. Also I can't any good video of a 300sx that has been converted to a bigger motor ...
We have taken it out a few times and worked out most of the small issues like carb adjustments etc. It rides great with those CHUBBYS and footholds . The only problem is my fifteen year old has been hogging it but he riding better every time we go out.
The cylinder is 61x it's not from the raider. From what I've read I need to jet the carbs for SJ. The carbs were jetted for the raider which has different exhaust ports so the jetting is different. So I'm going to get a 135 main jet and use stock setting for the rest of the carbs as factory...

I actually just put it together its my 1st X-2. Its been dormant since 1992. I took it out twice and its really fun in the surf it just needs a little more power.
