I guess he should just park the boat, it's ruined now. I've had about 12 different ADA heads over the years, never had a problem, all I'm saying is it seems like this guy just did his first mods to his boat, lets not scare the poop out of someone over your one bad experience.

Is it everyone's job on this forum to confuse the poop out of people? Tune you carbs, put the jets in that should have come with your pipe, if you bought it used call Factory Pipe and get the correct jets for it. With the ADA head and 35cc domes you will be just fine, no need for further testing...

Got the foot wells carved out last night, not fun, I think I still have foam shavings in my ears. Pretty sure we had to be on something the last time we did this, didn't seem near as enjoyable.

You should be able to tell just by that, more than likely you should not have to re foam. I would not cut your ski apart, unless you just have a lot of time and money to waste.

It won't have as many physical changes to the hull as the FX-1000 did, the main thing is to build a big enough chamber out of aluminum but still run the stock fuel tank and external fuel fill. With the way this motor drinks fuel, a cart tank is just a PITA. So far the pipe looks kinda plain....

I ended up ordering 4 cubic feet on the 4lb foam (that is 4 kits) We ended up using about 3 1/4 kits to finish the job. Tonight we carve out the foot wells and start glassing, then it's on to motor mounts and exhaust.
