old pair of running shoes here. dont have to spend any extra money because they are just old running shoes plus they add extra cushion and protect my toes better than softer wrestling shoes.. i find anyway.

Also, the 08 comes with a stainless steel impeller stock.. and contrary to popular belief around here, the 08 will slide easily once u figure out how to do it. but the steering throw is :-):-):-):-)ty on the 08 compared to former years.. the fx-1 pole and cable causes issues i love my 08...

I beg to differ that the new SJ hulls will not break loose to slide.. You just have to get used to a new technique to do it and it will slide very easy.

I would hesitate on sanding down the chines man. Just ride the 09 and you'll quickly figure out how to slide it effortlessly.

Hey guys, I've read a few things about drilling the hole for the bilge outlet but I wanted to clear some stuff up. I'm a little nervous about drilling through the gelcoat. How do you guys drill the hole without any chipping? I know its probably quite easy, just want to know what I'm doing...
