    Freestyle 2013 Daytona Flatwater Friday

yeah, i don't think i'd be too thrilled if someone demo'd my 35k dollar ski with no intentions on buying an a/m ski.

funny reading stanton preach about a/m hulls now. zzylstra. umm have you not been on a good a/m hull? the good ones do everything better then a sj. Everything..... wydopen. have you rode a 30k flatwater ski? you think that stuff is easy and a joke? i have a 100 bucks if you try a few...

Freestyle First PHP 898 with Nikasil!

they used cylinders with sleeves that were plated in nikasil for that dyno run? plated sleeves is something new for me. just trying to see both sides of the story. pretty sure most of these ski motors aren't even close to the operating temp they should be.

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

i left my reasoning why the stock cylinder 760 worked better then the billet cylinders. i can't tell you why their ports are prolly the same on all their motors. just trying to save money i suppose. a five axis machine should have no problem with compounded shapes.maybe their programmers...

still running a traditional sleeve with a the coating over it?

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

i'm not trying to make this an argument either. truth is i'm pretty sure the guy will be stoked with either the 4 mil php or 10 mil dasa. as for the stock stroke i think those cylinders are to much for a plain 62t bottom end. not enough velocity or crankcase pressure to support all the...

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

i guess you could say i am. ideas i suggest are now being used by some of the biggest names in the trade. pretty sure the guy you are referring to is trying to do something i suggested years ago. which is also why i'm running a powervalve polaris motor. stupid high port timing.... but it's...

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

the internet, full of people telling what they heard from someone else. you run total loss, powerfactor, and race gas anyways to get the most of your boat. so once again someone says something about port timing. i rode a pump gas 10 mil 1100 at worlds, ski was nothing but nasty on the bottom...

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

people always trying to sell stuff. that's what makes it hard to trust stuff people. lucas's dasa 900 10 mil stroker went about 2 years and almost 600 gallons of fuel. never inspected or anything. bore was still great on it. motors are like playing a better lottery system. some blow up in...
