Revolver

funny reading stanton preach about a/m hulls now.

zzylstra. umm have you not been on a good a/m hull? the good ones do everything better then a sj. Everything.....

wydopen. have you rode a 30k flatwater ski? you think that stuff is easy and a joke? i have a 100 bucks if you try a few tricks on it you'll come back in 5 minutes out of breath and prolly hurt. these new skis are no joke.

Don't know what u read bro but Considering I ride an AM hull called a ROK which is made by JEFF at WDK. Just please delete me out of ur post bro and read mine again cuz I was clearly sticking up for all hulls

Well u know what I ride and what I have ridden, you can not give me details on what u ride, but don't call me out ever, I'm entitled to an opinion and thats mine. Didn't talk bad on any am hull wether it be a revolver, a freak, a bob, foot rocket, or a trinity.

i didn't talk bad about it. i've been on a rok, eme, trinity, glass xfs, carbon xfs, ninja xfs, stock length sf, -1 sf, -2 sf, -4.3 sf, -9 sf, -3 circus, regular circus, fs1, fs2, fs2 evo, rev, and i feel like i'm forgetting some. various engines from ported 717 to 1200s. they're 3 1200's are the house right now. the rok is a good ski for the money. just not sure how you put an sj above it.

lol i wasnt talking about this hull i was responding to matts comment about a Sj being unpleasant to ride if u actually read it..matt wasn't even responding to me to begin with..

if i saw a ski i liked better than a sj id be all for it but im not interested in riding anything that limits your ability to carry speed and lay over on its rail..ie: too short and wide

the FP1 hull is something id love to try..a little shorter, a little more rocker..im not opposed to a different ski but something that was "designed" for flatwater freestyle isnt going to be it... if those skis are helping peoples surfriding then id hate to see what it would be like if they were riding SJs lol...

and to answer your question i feel like i get better everytime i ride..i certainly ride better than i did 3 years ago when i stopped for a year or whatever...your progression might be taking an extra hand off your bar but mine is getting the ski that much more upside down when i hit the lip or getting an extra turn or two in on a wave that i might have just hit once before...i can do the same stuff now on 10ft waves i could only do on 2ft waves before...plus im more interested in making what i can do look good instead of hucking some ugly trick..

even if i wasnt able to get any better at riding it wouldnt be my ski holding me back..just watch an old vid of JK..

I agree with most all you feel, but it seems like you are just stuck to one thing,Bet if you gave a rocket a go with a longer rear plate and some "practice" youd find it the perfect challenge your looking for..with some new capabilities youd never find on the sj

l think the main point on this thread was to show Lee Stone's new Revolver hull.Or did l miss something???

Some of you l know (and repect) making comments, some l don't,but once again a derailment may occur!!! Both Chris from QJS and Lee Stone are respected individuals. So why do you all have to throw out all this BS on what and who you rode...........Respect these guys

Let me start over.Awesome hull Chris and great luck in selling these awesome new hulls! Thank you

I like the looks of this hull, although it was weird looking at lee stone on it on live feed, but that only cuz there is nothing that looks like it. It's different that for sure but judging by the pics the quality looks awesome. Good job guys sorry for contributing to the derail

Here's a pic of the inside of the hood. Nice thing is it there is a baffle system and it breathes air. I really like this as I don't believe there is an adequate supply of air down a pole.

why did you turn your pole bracket into a twin hole breather version then? is it just me or do the holes in the rear of the hood look more restrictive than what a pole is?

The hull looks great, I think Lee should have signed with a respected hull manufacture and focused on riding instead of letting his ego get in the way and build his own hull. He probably would have won WF if he trained more and dialed his ski before he showed up to WF. He looked great on the BUN better than his own ski.

You guys are are killing me with this sj talk :eek:fftopic:

I didn't like the Scarecrow at all. I feel like the most important extension is his leg that is still in the ski, like a combination of a one footer and a no hander. He did more than enough on extending everything else, but it lost all visual. I think that it is because of the super short pole more than lack of practice.
