And, not a huge fan of how this ski looks. The nose reminds me of one of these..

Thanks for the information Chris.Always impressed with riders that actually help design and tweak new products as they come out.Just a few skis out there that use this high tech building process (lol). But it shows in the success of the product!

A flow guard is mostly about preventing water to escape the reduction nozzle / steering nozzle interface. Not so much about water entering during a trim pull.
Supposedly it gives better thrust by preventing water from escaping, but I have a hard time seeing that. I think it's primarily to keep that escaped water from going into the exhaust.

3 hood seals to help prevent ingestion? You would think 2 designed right would completey seal the hood, 3 seems over kill and more of a tooling/design issue i think

I'd love to see a new ski designed for better......wait for it.......riding!! Instead of all this endless backflip bullsh!t. Just sayin'.

I kind if agree. But people don't want to improve for the mostpart they want the hull/engine to do the work. Not saying these hulls or engines don't have there place some are doing incredible things not possible with a production hull or engine. For The majority if they truly wanted to ride better they would spend a couple years on a fx-1 or 550. Those ski's take serious skill to ride well. I can only imagine how hairy it was to race in a pack of 550's back in the day. It's scary to me just to think about lol

Try out some a/m hulls sometime. There are quite a few out there that are a lot more pleasant to ride all around than OEM hulls.

I agree with this to. I've ridden several and all where a blast to ride. I know I'll probably get some hate for it, but for all around I still like rev and rickters the best. The rev is very twitchy and I like that. And the rickter feels
Great all around and turns very fast!

some people arnt looking for a pleasant ride..they are looking for a ski they can stick the handlebar in the water when they are turning they have it laid over so far, if they could do that and do the circus tricks id be all for em..BUT..ive yet to see an aftermarket hull that can come close to doing that..they are like bathtubs with training wheels..

if i wanted pleasant id get a sea doo
