And, not a huge fan of how this ski looks. The nose reminds me of one of these..
The hood is double sealed with the option of a third to prevent water ingresion, rideplate and flowguard are also included.
Chris
Here is a super high-tech drawing of what I believe it is for. It keeps water from entering the jet stream and disrupting the flow.
This is what I'm thinking anyways...

What's wrong with how a Superjet rides? :dunno:I'd love to see a new ski designed for better......wait for it.......riding!! Instead of all this endless backflip bullsh!t. Just sayin'.

Try out some a/m hulls sometime. There are quite a few out there that are a lot more pleasant to ride all around than OEM hulls.

I kind if agree. But people don't want to improve for the mostpart they want the hull/engine to do the work. Not saying these hulls or engines don't have there place some are doing incredible things not possible with a production hull or engine. For The majority if they truly wanted to ride better they would spend a couple years on a fx-1 or 550. Those ski's take serious skill to ride well. I can only imagine how hairy it was to race in a pack of 550's back in the day. It's scary to me just to think about lol
