I should add if you lean as far and hard back as you can (easier for taller people) the death wobble will decrease. Depending on how much you run wide open its almost worth the death wobble for how well the ski turns with destroyers.

Tubbie 1 and 2 did exactly like you say minimal chine walk at mid throttle. Destroyers are 100 times better at carving but have a mid to wot death wobble/chine walk. Love what they do to the ski when its turning/on edge. Hate what the destroyers do when on the bottom.

As said above, chine walk from destroyers. Those tubbies make the Sj carve amazing but def do something to the hydrodynamics that make it sketchy at 25 plus mph. Take them off it will go away. But it does turn better with them.
