I can tell u this mrd injection setup right hits way harder then any carbs. But the setup right part is what sucks. I do know a guy in vegas that does mrd injection and makes replacement parts for them he also is awesome at tuning them and setting them up... skibonez 9285428519

I've had msd on my superjet and realy didn't see much difference but I will tell u when we built my wifes eme aerial8 we tried with a stock one and had rev limiter anytime u grabbed the gas more then a 1/4 throttle everybody thought it was impeller pitch but decided to swap to the msd enhancer...

The cdi can cause it and is a easy swap if u have another to test it with. The cdi and start/stop switch are the 2 most common things to go out on a yamaha. I have a grip of bad cdi.s I've replaced hanging on my garage wall to remind me...lol I always start there first... skibonez 9285428519
