You have rust, and definitely had water ingestion. Water does not lubricate. Piston wash is also lean.

We can straighten, re-pitch, balance but I do not weld. If you have loss of blade I would send to impro's or Dave @@ Leading edge impellers.

Agreed. While a short pole is good, it is not your issue. Your short plate is your problem. Going back to A stock plate will be a small upgrade. A longer aftermarket plate will help keep the nose down more, and with you being a bigger guy will really help. I like the DD long Jet dynamics...

All I know is on more than one occasion we have had Yamaha's here that are in a "limp mode" like the overheat sensor is bad, only to find it was the VR causing the rpm limit. I will say, this is WITH a stock Cdi though.

The ski in the video is dropping a cylinder (Spark wise). Yours may be doing the same thing. We have MANY problems with the MSD Cdi's, could also be the ignition coil, plug boots, fouled spark plug, etc. I have even had a bad voltage regulator cause this.
