    How the ?? Steering Break

This is exactly right. The aftermarket steering are designed for the longer through cables. On my 08 SJ I modified the steering attachment to accept the pre 08 cable. I am using a blowsion OVP and hav no issues bending the cable. However on my FX1 I am still using the stock steering cable which...

    Twenty years on one engine....sorta

Ha this literally mad me laugh out loud. I think SBT can be really good or really bad. I recently rebuilt an SBT 760 and the build quality was really bad. Wrong and mismatched bolts throughout, black silicone used for cases instead of 1911 and it was all over the crank, it had broken a reed...

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

Thanks guys. I talked to Pro-Tec figuring their pipe is similar and they just up the smaller main to 137.5 to match and adjust the screws to 1.5 turns low, 2 turns high. Figure I will start there and adjust accordingly.

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

Got ya. This is going in my couch so 90% of the time its full throttle. Agree the FP is nice but these rear exit pipes made for the XL's are so rare so I picked up the first one I saw which was this red pipe. was going to go with whatever impros recommends for the pipe.

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

Ha ok. I wonder why the XL is so much larger. Seems like just adjust screws and go from there then?

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

Correct keeping everything else stock including flame arrestors. Stock jets in the XL760 are 137.5/135 Mains with 115 Pilots. So for factory pipe as an example they say 130/132.5 mains with 115 pilots. Just confused by the whole thing...

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

Anyone? What about other pipes? Everything I am reading shows going down in jet size from stock. I can't wrap my head around that one. Any insight?

    760 Riva Red Pipe Jetting

I have been searching for a few days and have not had any luck so hopefully someone can shed some light. I am rebuilding my couch XL760. I randomly found a Riva Red Pipe made for that ski on eBay. I had never seen one before and because I can’t leave well enough alone I bought it. There is...

    Raw Fuel Out Exhaust

Hoping for some help. Not sure where to go from here. I am running a 62t/61x, dual 38 carbs jetted for b-bpipe, mod b pipe, Ada head 35cc domes. Ski was running great most of the summer. I flipped it over while riding so it got a bunch of water in the hull. Pumped it out with the bilge...
