Hello everyone! Welcome to the fall 2016 Carolina Beach Freeride at Freeman Park discussion thread! (otherwise known as the north end). For those who do not know what Freeman Park is, it is a 4x4 only beach access that you can camp on and bring your skis to ride surf any time of the year...

Just think positive thoughts lol, don't be a negative nancy. And buy a poncho so you don't turn into a swamp rat ;) And you can wash off all that saltwater in a nice rain shower so your not all crusty sleeping in the tent lol

Just like the Daytona ride and Wavedaze the week before and after weather always looks amazing... woulda coulda. Oh and also just think about it this way, least you won't be getting snowed on and freezing your ass off like Wavedaze this year lol. And were supposed to have awesome surf

I like my forecast better. Regardless, at this point we can do nothing but hope for the best buddy. And also think it can't get any worse than it was this past fall lol...

For anyone needing to leave unattached trailers at the boat ramp, please send me a message and I will send you the permit that you can print out and attach to your trailer when you leave it at the back of the parking lot for the weekend.

If your family is ok with camping the Carolina Freeride is quite an economical freeride compared to most others. Although some people who aren't ok with camping get closeby hotels and it's not too much more $$$

I'm 1.5 hours south of Atlantic Beach, my family has a place in Emerald Isle right where you live and it doesn't matter what beach your launching from anywhere on the NC coast it's illegal. You have to launch from the sound/intercoastal side and ride out the inlet to get to the surf. And just...

Yea that's not a good excuse norass. I went all the way down to Daytona with no ski this past winter. If you have a camping spot I'm sure there's some others willing to buy it from you.
