All I know (from friends experience), the early locking pin system is the weak spot you will need a bolt through-lock to keep your hood on (...remember Daytona 2018 pop a cherry?) Otherwise, they are solid all way around hulls, even lawn dart-proof! I would love to try the RTR setup!

Take apart the plug boots / wires and inspect for broken end and corrosion. At least you will eliminate one option. Water in a tank could be at fault too. Or Switch issue as smithrookie manetion
