Yea outa control... Your burning about 2 Yds of carbon @ 64 the better part of a qt of resin @25... Clear epoxy gel coat @ 100 a gallon.... Now add about 1.5 to 2 hrs to cut and lay up ... I'll just eat all the shipping cuz I'm a nice guy.

I think it also should be noted that grinding softens the pointy down things as well. If you fill the void 1/2 inch then you jack up the transition to the ride plate.

I would grind on that hull faster than a cat could lick his a$$...4 inch angle grinders do not discriminate . Might be a little fuzzy with Kevlar ... Just glass it with some 3 " carbon tape. I'll have it in the salt this weekend if the forecast holds ... That orta tell to tell.

Its not a flat water mod per say...... For surf its mandatory . Making it about 4 inches in into the hull allows you to get the nose down faster. As opposed to the pancake Pete version.
One more thing .....dat boy can paint....
I'm not a real hull /part builder ..... But I play one on the X. I don't plan on selling ride plates it's not worth my time if I can't pull 175.00 a plate. Not to mention the hours Invested making two molds....
Well here you go...so basicly I got a wild hair and decided to shave down the hangy down things . I ended up taking off about 1/2 inch on each side to match my Tweaker ride plate.
The net effect was outstanding ! It made the ski MUCH easer to slide and break loose. I was a little concerned it...
It's a chan thread...... They never stay on track...... Just go with it.
The long and short of it is I damaged my hull " hangy down things and am going to make them shorter or less taller. Pics shortly
Further more its not like a have sickratery or Kerry a dicktionary around in my Pocket .... What a bunch of dishbags . I'll just keep my ingenious ideas to my self from now on....

Well just because you don't see us at work does not mean we are not hard at it . After the over whelming response to the ONLY ride plate that actually fits we have decided to make another MAJOR handling improvement ( after running up on a trailer and grinding down a chin until you could see day...
