I made a full or extra full length plate by grafting a cut piece (special thanks to horn dog) to my existing cut plate. If I could have bought one I would not have bothered. I plan on modifying the plate by taking most of the strake out of it .... might loosen it up...

Nick , when you do your pump alignment make sure your shaft comes in high enough to to give you clearance so your cases don't hit the bottom of the hull. Most are measuring about 6.5 mm form case to the bottom . If you come in low you'll have to get octain mounts plus mill the case and flywheel...

That's a modified Mcdog special ... Basically you take whatever battery your going to use wrap it with foam under pad 1/8 or 1/4 . Cover the foam with a good quality gorilla tape . Glass over the tape let cure and de mold .... Custom fit every time.
550 tank works well with a little heat. I'll post a pic or two tomorrow. You can get fittings from aircraft spruce for the fuel lines 3.5 gallons with a b pipe and xmetal water box
Not a bad thread to consider if your the main provider for your family and self employed. Ive had a few tweeks..... Strained knee on crutches a week and currently have some bruised ribs .... It seems to happen on the Last set. I have now decided not to ride the last set.
