But now I have come across another problem. Since the pivot is now lower than center on the steering nozzle due to my spacer, the trim starts to engage when turning left because of the cable pushing on the bottom of the nozzle instead of center. Anyone got any ideas?

You're probably right. I didn't think about it that way. Just sucks I had to build this 1in adapter spacer to make it to where the cable can hook up to the steering nozzle and still clear the pump.

Can anyone confirm that I do have the cable going the right direction? Long side at the pump?
