Where did you guys get your coolant lines from? Ace hardware has that ugly clear stuff with the rope in it but it would be nice to have something thinner for the pump-to-hull water in line. The tubes going through the hull are 1/2 inch but the fittings on the pump are 3/8 inch

Yeah that's exactly how it feels. I did some shipping on the engine and got it all lined up and ready to rock. Never seized and tightened the crap out of everything that I had out on the drivetrain. Now it's time to button her up and hope for the best tomorrow.

I put back in the midshaft and everything seems fine. I checked the gap behind the midshaft prior to putting in any bolts and it had an even gap so no shimming for me on the midshaft housing. On a side note though I did make this nifty little tool out of 6061 Billet aluminum to press out the mid shaft on the splined side without damaging anything. The oring inside of the midshaft holds it centered while you press. It worked perfectly.

I already tried. He doesn't have any in stock and he said they're on backorder. That's what I was getting at up above.

Thanks for the offer dude. I think I'm just going to order the tool from blowsion. Seems as if they have it available. Chances are I'll be taking it all back out again sooner than later anyways so I can redo it at that point.

I want to get the tool too but it's on backorder from cold fusion. I told JM to keep me in the loop on availability.

Pressing in the midshaft tomorrow and then checking to see if the midshaft housing needs shimming and then it's going back together! Thanks for all the replies guys. Happy shredding

I've already slotted the pump but I'm just not having any luck. Did anyone have to shim the front two bolts when installing an aftermarket pump?

That last paragraph before the second picture doesn't make any sense to me on your description of the waterbox. Is the stock waterbox more likely to cause condensation or yours? I checked your master parts list to see if you offered any waterboxes but didn't see this! Thank you!
