Your right Buzzard, he built many more winning race motors as well. It’s kinda funny actually cause Chris jokes about how Gabes engine is more of an endurance engine than a freestyle engine cause he pins it for 3 minute combos and a freestyle engine can’t endure that.
Chris is the true pioneer in freestyle power, Malone, Lenzi and Rok all won with his engines. Combined with Mark Baxter’s (PowerFactor) tuning back in the day. Chris decided to pull himself out of moth balls and help some fresh talent and develop a 900 platform that is like nothing else.

Use an Allen set screw, easier to install and remove. Works perfectly, done lots of transfer marking that way. Do one, then move to set screw. Bolt it up each time as you expose the hole so it stays aligned each time.
There is the piece and part number you need to fix it. Our high compression engines knock those apart all the time. They rarely crack to the center but one of the 3 ears fail regularly.
In my opinion Florida weather would be too unpredictable this time of year. Hurricane type weather would put a serious damper on the event and with all the international travel that would be a terrible waste of everyone’s time and resources to chance the Florida weather.

I don’t know of any current hull that is illegal. Our RevolverR is as short as they get and it still is over 76”. My Helium is over 80” and the running surface of bottom deck is even over 74”
