You could de/solder the wires from the coils, but I must warn you: the splice at the pulse coil is hard to duplicate. My preferred way is to cut off the 3.9mm connectors at the ebox end, pull off the rubber grommet- then no soldering needed- just new oem style connectors.
Those Fluoroelastomer Vitons work just the same- are probably brown in color. Make sure cylinder deck and head surface is well degreased before applying the 1211 to seal the water area.
