I've seen it happen on a stock rn. Gas had been sittin in the hull for a while, the guy turned on the bilge before riding. BOOM. The hood blew off and put several large cracks straight through the middle of the fiberglass of the hood. He ended up using about 50 zipties to hold it together so he...
You also have a third option...I believe the blowsion dual bilge bracket has space for the stocker as well. Having said that, I think dual bilges will be much better than the stocker + 1 bilge. I have two rule 500's and they work great. 1 of them was not enough IMO.
Just wanted to follow up on this. I replaced the pump seal and my cavitation is completely gone. Pump is super hooked up and seems to load the engine much more. I actually had to re-tune my carbs because of the difference.
I had the blows ion dual bracket and the standard holes did not mount up at all. I had to drill a single hole halfway in between them. Once I did that it worked like a champ.

The motor just pulls from the coupler but your ebox has to go with the motor. Either way I have found it easier if you pull the battery box/tank in that order. Remember the placement of any motor mount shims before you take it out.

Interesting. On my Sola's mag I just went to a bored nozzle and stubby cone and I am getting massive cavitation at low speeds. It still has great hookup once moving its just hard to get going sometimes. I just replaced the really worn pump seal so if that does not fix then I will go back to...
Yeah the selector switch is a known issue. I tried to clean mine out and it appeared clean but was still cutting out my motor at WOT

Do you have the stock fuel selector switch on there? Try bypassing it and going straight to the carb. This is typcially a source of fuel starvation. I had the same problem with mine and getting a new fuel filter and bypassing the selector solved it.
Hmmm I wonder what features could come in a premium version? Either way, tapatalk is the app i use by far the most on my phone. I recommend everyone to check it out and use it for browsing the x!
I did it with a 550 up front. Just make sure you will still have the turning radius you need. You also are kind of stuck with the configuration because removing the front ski will cause the trailer to do a wheely

I got the blowsion 0 degree bars for my square nose. They bolted right on to the stock turn plate and i loved the bars. They are quite wide (an inch or so wider than x-metal) which really helps with stability and forces you to keep your weight a little more forward.
A pipe, any pipe will make a bigger difference than anything else on your ski right now. Coffman Sizzler is about half the price of a b-pipe and is 85% as good.
You probably won't notice any difference with a lightened flywheel, you really need a pipe. The stock exhaust really chokes the engine.
If i were you i would run that SN hull till it dies. Get a limiting rope and a hooker 9/15 impeller. The limiting rope will prevent your pole from breaking off when learning stabs. The impeller will make a huge difference over the stock impeller.
Keep the square nose hull until you have...
