Absolutely without the rubber dampener. It will shove the couplers in a better position without being properly alligned.
Also bolt down motor and make sure. Then unbolt, move forward and put dampener in.

When youre falling over your just turn in sharper. When you need to get out of it, turn in pretty hard, almost like your'e going for a slippy slide. In general the key is more speed!
I run it on my round nose, it hooks up like crazy. Letting off the gas at high speeds is like slamming on the brakes and at first you almost go over the bars. I personally love it as its like a brake. In terms of hookup, i run a solas 144 mag, and I never have issues with cavitation. I can do...
I had the stock cone with stock reduction nozzle with a 10/16 hooker and it just wasn't right. I moved to a bored reduction nozzle and stubby cone and it was a night and day difference. SO much better
Put your weight more forward, that will help in both cases. If you are hanging back on the bars you can't turn as sharp and you will backflop on large jumps

I got a RN bilge bracket that attaches to the midshaft and used it in my square nose for a while. I did have to drill a hole in it so the bolt pattern would fit, but it will work after that :p
My brother has had the same cylinder for years now and it is on its final bore of 83mm. It has significantly more power than at the lower bores, with all the same porting and other parts. It feels a whole lot more powerful than it used to. No replacement for displacement:cool:
Was out trying rolls on my RN this last weekend... Doesn't feel so great after a few pancakes! Although I made a couple just over 3/4 and rode out, pretty good feeling! I can't quite remember what i did differently on the successful ones. I think the hard part is pushing for the jump, but at the...
I felt that it does load the engine significantly more, but it ends up being a better feel. With my sn I was a little unhappy with the "loss" of felt power but really happy with the handling and features of it in general. When I went to a stubby cone and a bored reduction nozzle the pump really...
