Speed is key. It is much more scary at first but way easier to turn when you are on plane. If you are going 5 MPH and the nose is in the air and plowing, you are very unstable. For just learning, i would use the bars more than leaning. Start leaning more and more as you get comfortable with how...
I tend to blip the throttle right as im landing...this gets the ski back up out of the water before it sinks and leans over to one side. Also if you are way back in the air, lean forward as far as possible. Just be careful when the ski pops back up out of the water so it doesnt smash your face...
yeah I have it. You can do barrel rolls and back/front flips. Pretty fun, reminds me of the old waverace for N64. Overall i would say worth it. If only they had freestyle mode!
With an sxr I would start with hood tricks and subs. Pleanty of cool videos out there...just keep trying over and over. Also remember to keep your speed up, its more scary but actually a lot easier to do most things when going a little faster.

I am currently running a Sizzler on a 701 and it works great! I would say it has a smoother powerband than the b pipe. The bpipe hits super hard once it hits the high enough rpms whereas the Sizzler just improves the whole powerband.
I came from a stock exhaust as well and it made a night...
I would say footholds first..There is so much more to learn once you get footholds, whereas with a pipe you are still limited to what you could without the pipe...just a little slower/closer to the water.
I have a xoom as well. I really like it, use it 2 hours a day for commuting. Not bad for browsing while on the couch either :) Unfortunately i have the 3g version and verizon is holding my ice cream sandwich upgrade hostage for some reason...
i used watercraft factory and i love them! they came pretty straight and were easy to install, no trimming was needed. They feel great, perfect sized for me and i don't fall out but i also dont feel like im locked in completely and going to break and ankle
