Has anyone tried to use Viton rubber sheet for scupper flaps? The material is pretty damn expensive but it has an "excellent" chemical resistance rating in salt water, gasoline, and most oils. It's the only seal material I'll use now that come in contact with fuels and the stuff seems...
The external fill tube on my 6.6g tank is in the same location as stock and if filling exclusively from the external fill then there would still be the air bubble at the top of the tank. The fill tube does not extend into the tank, but since the geometry is roughly the same you would have the...
Still working on trying to find a donor X2, I'll post again in the local ski FB group.
I dont have the 3.8g tanks in stock but I've got several of the 3.3g version with the battery tray.
I just got parts in for the 4.7g and 6.6g (SXR). I should have some welded up and ready to ship in a few days after I cover my current orders.
Now in stock - 3.3g, 4.7g, 5.3g(No battery tray), 6.6g(SXR), 7.1g(SXR1100), and 9.3g(Jetmate)
Parts for these just came in and I've started welding them up. I've got three tanks left after covering the orders I had if anyone is interested in one.
Thanks!
Nathan
I'm working on an aluminum fuel cell for a customer for the 750sx/Pro. I don't have the model here yet but it should be at least 6 gallons, possibly more. I'm definitely making one for him but the price will be cheaper if I can make more. It will be internal fuel fill only with an anodized...
I'm all out of the 6.6s. Haven't had any interest in a while. If I can get a few people signed up for one I would make a small batch. I do have 7.1g tanks in stock though if you wanted to switch to a rear waterbox.
I'm getting ready to start another batch of 4.7s. I'll probably be ordering parts later this week. If anyone is interested in one just let me know and I'll add you to the list.
I also have two 5.3g tanks (no battery tray) left that I'll sell at discount for $299 + shipping if anyone is...
Just sent you a PM back.
3.3g tanks are in stock but the Jetmate tanks just sold out.
Might be starting on an X2 tank that fits with most exhausts, surf brace, battery box, and/or 750 ebox mount here soon...
Parts are finally in for the 3.3g tanks and I've started welding them up. The price will be going up $20 to offset some of the price increase in aluminum, to $349 + shipping.
I also have a couple extra sets of 9 gallon Jetmate tank parts if anyone is interested in one of those. Due to the...
Southern Utah is epic if you felt like driving up a bit further North on the way back after Havasu. There are some epic hikes in Zion (Angel's landing!!) then over to Moab for Dan Mick's Jeep tour (Had no idea a Jeep could do that!). So much stuff to do and see around that area. Seriously...
Sorry guys, I just sold out of 3.3s last week. I do have a few 4.7s and 5.3s left. I'm finishing up the design on a Jetmate tank right now for a customer so I'm trying to get that done first so I can order all the parts in one batch.
Some more bad news, the cost of the tanks are probably going...
I just wear some thin neoprene socks with my shoes to keep any sand/shells from causing irritation. Mine are about 6" higher than my shoes and makes kicking in much more comfy due to the extra layer above my feet.
I made one like that a year or two ago but I only ended up making like 10-12 of them. Wasn't enough interest in them to continue production. You might be able to find one used.
