Just wanted to be fair to jetworks carbon petals here. After removing manifold, 1 reed had some very minor chipping in not sealing area and one reed didn't close fully, but otherwise were O.K. NO major chips or chunks missing..

Are you talking about that little black cylinder thing that connects to a water draining thing and go to gas tank? I drained some water out, not too much, what do I check for to go bad? Looks like a tube thing inside the black cylinder thing. Sorry for my lame descriptions.

Update: Opened up carbs, replace hs jet with mikuni brand instead of the wsm brand that was in there. Checked pop-off. checked seats. looks ok.. put back together with old gaskets. (need to order new ones) Notice a piece of gasket material under rear carb from old removal that I never got off...

That thought enter my mind too. Here's the plugs when I pulled them. These were new. Did one hour run first trip, changed hs jet from 150 to 145 and ran about 30 mins before engine died and problems started. These are the plugs when I got home. The first set of plugs I pulled from my first ride...

Just thinking. Cause a bad MSD enhancer cause that behavior or bad coil.. I know I had both those things go once before but I can't remember the symptoms..

Really? Maybe the cause is full speed blasting? LOL I could be this metal part I had to rig when I had to fit the jetworks reeds on the boyensen valves.

Quinc, I only got four rides on these Jetworks "better than boyensen petals" ones.. Again, to be fair, I will update once apart which will be tonight or tommorrow at the latest.. I otta get this thing back and running well. Idle isn't too important for me but nice when the wife and friends...

Unfortunately I do not have the stock cages, just the boyensen ones. Will the vf2's last longer than the boyensen? I think to buy the stock setup, it will cost me alot$$$ for a downgrade in performance and upgraded reliability

First off.. Ada head with 185 compression. Riva red pipe. Group k bored carbs. 145 HSJ 1 /1/2 HS screw, lSJ 100 and LS screw 1turn.(idles perfect until today) I was running Boyensen RAD valves . I would get a season or two tops with those. Lasti time I put in Jetworks reeds on the boyensen valve...

I am looking to add that same type of tool box to my single trailer but the wench is in the way. How do you attach the front of the Blaster to the case. Any close-up pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
