I also have a pair that wrap over your handgrip and close with velcro..
Two things, 1) can I tap ones of the lines(dual cooling) in from the pump to run water injection? Or is that robbing the prime cold water to the manifold? 2) or do I have to have two T's one from head to the pipe. One for the hose and 1 for the water injection for the riva pipe. Right now I have...
I relocated the T for the garden hose hookup to the cooling line from the pump for a cleaner install. I was just checking if there are any downsides to this before I reinstall the motor.. The only downside I see is that half the water will come out the pump.. Just checking. Thanks
Looks awesome. I like he red bracket too. Still waiting for my stuff to come back from my mechanic. He is putting the pipe through some cleaner machine at lexus( I have no idea what that is). And carving out a piece of my brackett..

Do you have a close-up of the shimmed area. Did you use a couple stainless steel washers. Just wondering cause I'm putting mine together this weekend most likely.
Looks awesome. I've read numerous thread on using grease on the orings vs 1211 and "1211 or yamabond where the domes meet the headshell to prevent vibration movement wear" from this page...
Sorry, what's big basin? is that a part of the illinois river.. I went in at ottawa before to go to starved rock area and ran into the asian carp. I haven't riden lake michigan for a few years(miller beach). I used to ride wilson harbor before that turned into a beach.. I keep my eye out for...
What river do you ride? Illinois? I've been riding the Illinois river down in Morris this last year. Haven't seen any blasters out there. Only couches and one like 550 standup. But I riding most often during the week on my days off.
I can't comment on the piston wear aspect. Although my head is off with original pistons and the cylinders have no scoring. I noticed the difference in riding. rough water or when jetski is on it's side when you don't have a full tank. No hicups from the air in the line. Group K reccomend them...
I replaced the tubing of the fuel-air seperator and external fuel pump in case anyone wanted to see it installed while motor is out. I definately like them. It removes all those little hicups ( when air enters the fuel line)when low on fuel and hitting waves and curving tight turns.
Here's and...
I re hosed the fuel-air seperator and external fuel pump in case anyone wanted to see it installed while motor is out. I definately like then. It removes all those little hicups when low on fuel and hitting waves and curving tight turns.
Here's and article on them...
Not sure if I'm supposed to do anything about the buildup on the pistons. But planning on cleaning the screw holes and old gasket material on case before install. I thought we weren't supposed to use sealer on that gasket. or is that for the manifole gasket? Newbie alert.... LOL
