I have seen the word tubbies. I figure they go on the sides in the front of the ski. Are they for turning like sponsons or for stability?

I did find JB weld marine putty. but I check into to epoxy mix w/ cabosil , or g- flex w/ 404.

How hard is the transition from a blaster to a superjet? I have riden a standup years ago before the blaster. I can't remember how easy difficult.
