Sorry, I can't speak to your specific setup. My advise would be to pick a fuel or combination of fuel and stay with it. I've been out of the ski game for a while now but still browse here because I enjoy the content. I do ,however, have experience in engine tuning and fuels.
My post was...
This. RVP in race fuel is all over the place, even within a sealed 5 gallon jug. Spec fuel for a series I tune motorcycles for is VP C-10 which has a RVP 4.02 psi. Testing new, un opened jugs typically results in actual RVP of somewhere between 1.5-2.5. As race fuel loses RVP, or goes...
Just lurking in the shadow's on occasion. Haven't had a ski for several years now. Back into bikes and windsurfing more but I'm sure I'll return to this money pit of a hobby at some point!
Yup, ran into him at a race in CA after X-games qualifier last year. He was just getting his FTR1200 dialed in at that point. I'm sure we'll cross paths again
My converted 1997 Sportser for the Hooligan class. Build started about a year ago. Didn't get to ride much last summer but did make a trip from WI to CA to qualify for X-games and then raced X-games Minneapolis. Hopefully get some more seat time on it this summer.
I just used a fuse on the positive side. No chance of that failing. If you're going to mount under the hood anyways, why take a chance on another failure point for TL
Still working on the conversion. Had it on a 2900 mile round trip to padre island in November for some Windsurfing. It's going to work out nicely when I get it dialed in

Funny this thread popped up again. I still have this engine, all though I don't have a ski anymore. I've run multiple combinations on this, with last being X-scream 46's, total loss, and a Speedwerks dry pipe in my old vision hull. It's been a fantastic power plant for me. It's been sitting...
Not a truck, but prolly sees more off road and utility with than a lot of trucks on the road. Just got the new wheels and tires on.

I sold this a few years back. 2006 Husky SMR510. Super fun bike, awesome motor. A friend had the same year 450 and this was definitely quicker. Also had a set of 21/19 dirt tires setup for ice. Sure miss that charging system and heater grips!
The more I've read into this and looked around it seems like 2016 is a pretty big year in regards to changes to the 29er trail bikes for multiple companies. Shorter chain stays, 68* geo, etc. There are so many bikes out there it is hard to narrow anything down haha.
I'm liking the
